Did a short little hunt last night, started raining a little, but I just put a small towel over my box n kept on teckin. Glad I did! Found a mangled, fired bullet, can't tell for sure what it is, but it's about the mass of a 3-ringer and I can see that it has a solid base, might be a ringtail sharps, but I can't really get a positive ID on it. Found a couple other small slivers of CW lead, and then I found something really cool!! Wasn't sure what it was til someone on the whatsit forum ID'd it for me, but I was pretty sure that it was CW era. It's part of a CW calvary hat pin, saweeeet!! Coolest CW find yet. I'm going to go back to the spot I found it and see if I can't find the rest of it, not holding my breath though. Second photo is what it would look like whole. Thanks for lookin, HH!!
