New corn field, some medieval and roman hits

Great finds. I dug up a few lead seals myself. Try tracing your unknown coins on a thin sheet of paper with a pencil. You might get more details than just simply looking at the coin through a lense.

You guys in Europe are so fortunate to have so much history buried in the ground. We are so limited here in the States.I sure enjoy seeing yalls finds. Keep sending us pictures now hear. HH.

Interesting variety of finds:thumbup:

The fake medieval coins look like really old coins to me. How do you know they are fake, and what would they be doing out in a field? I love those finds though! Nice hunt!

Today I dug up (in the rain...) what seemed to be a large washer smothered in mud. Just washed it out with soap and toothbrush. Turns out to be a Celtic money ring from 600-400 BC. Check this ebay selling ring for an example. I'll post a photo of mine tomorrow.
