Dear Valued Members,

Due to customer requests, we have added a new 7’’ CONCENTRIC COIL to IMPACT and RACER coil assortments.
Please find below the part numbers and the pictures of these new coils.

The coils are available now and we will ship them to dealers as they are ordered!

RACER RC18C SEARCH COIL (7") CONCENTRIC BLACK
PART NUMBER: 20000726

Can't wait to try one on the Racer 2. Hope it's good on rusty bottle caps. Those things are difficult.

I like the concentric for it's pinpointing so I prefer them in well manicured lawns. That means I'd like about a 9" coil for better depth on old coins than a 7" coil. I also like the concentric coils for their better discrimination in trashy places with lots of bottle caps. This means a small coil like a 5 - 6" diameter. For me, a 7" coil is too large and too small. I don't like compromise coils. JMHO (but I'm sure I'll be ordering one soon) but which one for which detector?

For me personally, and physically, the 7" would seem to be the perfect coil. Folks like me with arthritic hands will welcome a coil larger than the 5" coils, but a lot smaller and lighter than the stock coils.

Is it possible to order directly from you and pay by Pay Pal? I talked to two of your distributors today and not much help.
Or do we have to wait until the retailer receives their stock?

Probably about a month before 7" coil will be available. As per metaldetector.com
Could be longer, could be sooner.

We're waiting. So maybe will be available from retailers by the end of next week?

Impatiently waiting. :bouncy:

Was told by rep at metaldetector.com, that 7" coils should be posted on Web site by 5he end of week.
Gotta get one.

New 7" round concentric coil, @ 130.00, now available at metaldetector.com.

Not under search coils.
Go to metal detectors, click Makro, click standard racer, drop down to related products, click on 7" coil cover, then you will see link.
Crazy complicated.

Actually it's not complicated. I made it complicated.
Very very easy.
My apologies to metaldetector.com

No, you were right. It's not intuitive at all. Maybe they'll fix it.

Who's got the 7" concentric for the Impact? Metaldetector.com only has the coil for the Racer.

before the heat builds-up ... again. It's been a very long, hot summer, but I'm going to go break-in the IM18C with a little field time after 9 AM. I'll shoot you an e-mail later today when I get back over here to Oregon. Just Coin & Jewelry Hunting today, unless I happen to chance upon some renovation in an older neighborhood.

Monte - I can't wait to hear how the new coil works out for you. I've wanted a concentric for the Racers since day one. DD coils have their place but so do the concentrics and I've always been partial to the Concentrics. Now I just have to find a dealer that has the 7" coil for the Impact in stock. I decided I'd rather have the concentric for my Impact over my Racer 2.

I can't find it either. Might want to call them.
