I am pleased to have my new machine. It has been 10 years since I had a new detector. I am having fun already :)

Let's us know how you like her! Now record some videos and post on YouTube. Lol. Or just get out and hunt.

Great! I have one coming this Wednesday. Really looking forward to doing some comparisons with my Vaquero.

Thanks everyone. I plan on doing some videos with my iPod. Just need to find some really easy free video editing software to use.

Enjoy!:detecting:

I bought an older model Compadre last spring having given up looking for an Amigo ll that I really wanted. It works wonderful in dense small iron trash, but like any other detector in aluminum trash I see no benifits there, because when you turn the disc. up you lose depth. I like mine for searching around old house foundations, with disc. set to 'just' eliminate a small /medium rusty surface nail. If your ground is not too mineralised, it works great at signaling on small brass, alum, gold, silver mixed with rusty small iron. Beep and Dig it.
