new coils for explorer

They just come out with new coils for expolrer.One of the coil was a 6"
DD excelerator I hope that was not the one we were hope for our x-terra that everyone was talking about.

Excelerator coils are made by DeTech, not Minelab. The X-Terra coil many of us have been waiting for is manufactured by Minelab. I think the X-Terra concept is too new for Minelab to want to share proprietary information with 3rd party manufacturers anytime soon.

As to the new 6-inch Excelerators..... I have a couple buddies that have been testing them out on the Explorer as well as the MXT. Both have made some excellent posts on those respective forums.

Hi Bob, Have you missed the Explorer SE that much? I admit I like both machines. Looks like the 6 incher will be here for the X70 before long. I hope I can get a few myself. Ok Bob keep up the great work and God Bless ya!

Even though the SE is still a little heavy, I am always going to want one so might as well be now as later.
I will keep the XT70 and my Shadow X5. The trio fits my style of hunting and thats about that. :minelab:
 
It is hard to drop something you spent all of those long hours to master !!!!! and still have fun no matter what you hunt with.
