New coil

Tried out my new 5x8 DD AT PRO coil from Bart's Big Boys [see feedback forum], and noticed a marked increase in nickel and dime recoveries, even tho I'd been over the snack bar area last year with the 8.5x11 DD. Some surface finds, but mostly 1- to 2-inch depth targets registered clearly, ones I think I should have picked up with the bigger coil. But both sizes have a very useful purpose in my daily hunts. Sure liked its lightness!

More and more expereinced detectorists I know are going for the smaller coils unless they are hunting open fields.

I rarely use the large coil since getting one of the 5x8's when they first came out. A great coil!
