New Chip

Big fan of the GTI2500. Found a lead bullit size of a dime at an honest 14" depth in a clean field in all metal. My question is to the new chip and coil. For those who have had the opportunity to either test them side by side or had your converted, have you noticed a difference in stability? Are there any additional differences, however small, you can share? Thanks.

I haven't had mine converted yet but plan to. The new chip just makes the GTI perform better in high mineralization, especially if one is nuggetshooting.

I purchased a GTI 2500 and it had the new chip in it. I called Garrett and they said they would put a new chip in the 1350. I had them put a new chip in it also. While my detector was in there they did a change of the power cord ( for those who hip mount). Did a real great inspection of the whole 1350 before they sent it back. Now I feel as if I have two New machines.
