New chip

I have heard about a new chip for the 2500 and just recently read about a newer chip being used in the later model GTP1350. What about the 1500? Is there a new chip for it?

I've seen topics about this new chip but, I dont know where I could get more details about it.........would you know??

There is a charge $30.00-$40.00. It will only benefit you if you ground is so highly mineralized that your coil overloads on it. The new chip prevents the overloading, and allows you to continue hunting in that environment. The chip was designed to work in the highly mineralized environment in Australia.

All the above mentioned detectors come standard with the new chip installed, beginning I believe in August, 2006.

Thankyou

Hi to you. Hope the world is treating you well over there. My sister-in-law and her mother have a bunch of kin over there. Her mother is a native Brit. She met her husband during WWII over there and moved to the states with him. She is widowed and way up in her eighties and a gem of a lady.
