New bean field site gives up Indian Cent

I got out for a few hours Wednesday. Toward the end of my days hunt, having very little success in some previously hunted sites, I decided to check out a location that I had discovered doing some Atlas research. The old home site is now a bean field that has a lot of sand mixed with the black dirt, from prior flooding. I hadn't had much luck and was about to call it a day when I found the 1901 Indian. I will return to do a more thorough search after the harvest. The Indian is rough, but I'll still take it. It kind of made the day.
