new baby arrived with yellow ears !!!!!

i toooooooooo had an happy arrival today, perfectly boxed + formed but she has yellow koss ears !!! no really my old 1000 has blue headphones, what year did they change to yellow ??? I have now decided on my design for the gunslinger style mount and intend to wait until my prota is sorted before i use my new baby and hopefully the gunslinger hip mount will help keep her in mint condition ??
i also got the short dive shaft in the kit so perhaps i will be doing some snorkel detecting HEALTH WARNING !!! im not a pretty sight in a wet suit + fins !! ( but alas thats another forum ) ??

Tony, I was told by Minelab that the new yellow Koss headphones are what ships with the newest Excaliburs. Mine came with the yellow headphones as well. I just got my Florida straight shaft the other day and I am going to try the rig out today. It sure feels good swinging with that shaft. The balance is superb!

hi farmercal, i have made my mount now , using a scuba tank plastic back pack,i turned the b.pack upside down, fitted the 1000 inside an aly hinged box on a quick release diving belt it now sits on my rrrrrs so i can swivel it around to tweek the knobs and swivel it back again ( out of harms way ) . I wouldnt use my new baby until it was properly mounted and all the cables secured coz i didnt want to get the inevitable war wounds, thus trying to keep my investment mint .!!
iv had a couple of good finds recently that have paid for my new 1000 sorry im not very techno so cant post photos , (wish i could )like Max the piccy man !!
Being a bit of a Heath Robinson i have also made a walking stick that transforms into a YORKSHIRE straight shaft !! LOL
and i am now working on a s/s scoop making the shaft double as a crutch ( the things we do to get thru u.k. security + customs ) I do a lot of hunting in spain and im off to ibiza on mon to launch my new rig, will let you know how she does h/h tony
