Just received my new ATPRO last night,assembled it and read the manual quickly.Iwent out this afternoon for three or four hours at local small city beaches.I found three rings,a watch, and about five dollars in coins.One ring is stainless,one sterling and gold,the other is ten carat with two emeralds.I was hunting in pro mode,nothing notched out,iron reject set at 15,sensitivity at max.I had a wonderful afternoon and really enjoyed the ATPRO,I just wish there was a detector that would ID canadian coins.HH John.
 
Wow, that's a pretty impressive first outing! Sounds like you and your AT Pro are gonna be buddies!

Sorry,I dont know how to do pics.Im just learning to use a computer.Im a 66 year old fa-t that didnt grow up in this techy world.I will try to get my daughtr to send the pics.Thanks for all the nice comments.HH John.
 
All I found at my first outting was a really upset wife because of all the wholes in the front yard.

Hi everyone,Igot my daughter to send the pictures.At the top right isthe 10K. with 2 emeralds,to the left is the stainless scorpian ring,to its left is the sterling ring with a 14K.gold triangle.The rest were found with my X-Terra over the last two years in Myrtle Beach and fresh water beaches and lakes in Canada.The eight reale counterfiet coin was found in three feet of water in a fresh water lake in a campsite back in the bush inQuebec,Canada.Absolutely no idea how it ever got there.HH.John.
