New area I'm working.

This place has a lot of trees, tall grass and brush and probably hasn't been searched. Its hard to believe that this was once a ski area. The two slopes had one tow line and after a short hike through thick brush and tall grass I found a cement foundation where one of the tow post sat in.This ski area closed down in the 50s so there has to be a sweet spot here even though a lot of the smooth slopes has been washed out and a lot of vegetation growth. The good thing about Michigan we don't have a lot of poisonous snakes. Some photos of finds for the short search.LOL the Sovereign null-ed and screamed, underneath some leaves pulled this old beer can up.HH Ron

Sounds like a site with a lot of potential, Ron. Were any of the coins oldies?

Sounds like a promising spot Ron! Those pre 64' spots are the best as you know the high tones have a good chance of being silver. Of course it can also lead to disappointment when you get a great signal, flip the plug to see a coin and realize it's somehow a 1995 Washington in your 1950's honey hole (God do I hate that ).

Probably would be a great spot to go to early next Spring if we get a decent snowfall this year to pack all that grass and brush down.

Does that can say Stroh's? ... the king of beer before Budweiser stole the phrase. Dang, I don't remember loosing a full can; ever. Don't remember visiting Michigan either.

Hope that spot turns up some nice silver for you.
Cheers,
tvr
