New member
Just wanted to say hello to everyone and just placed the order for my MXT, should have it here by friday.:help: Cant wait to try it out, upgrading from a Fisher CZ-7a Pro

Welcome to the forum and the world of detecting with the MXT.
Good luck and may you find the silver and jewelry.

Welcome to the forum Capt. Dave. I think you will enjoy your new MXT. Did you order any extra coils for it and if so which ones? You will find a lot of good information on this forum and a lot of nice folk willing to help you along with your detector if the need so arises. When you get going with your MXT let us know how it is going and send us photos of your finds. HH Dennis in Idaho

Im definatly planning on ordering the 6x10 coil, read alot of good about it. I will definatly be posting any good finds, so far the fisher got me 2 silver rosy dimes and a silver ring this year....lets hope the MXT will out perform it:bouncy:

Welcome aboard Capt. Dave. I'm hoping you'll like your MXT half as much as I like mine. I've had mine for 7 years and I wouldn't part with it. I wish you all the luck in finding those old coins, etc. Dennis is right, there's a lot of good people here and are more than willing to help you out if need be. Silver, gold or not, we love to see what all is found. HH, Nancy

Welcome Capt. Dave, good to have you here..................:whites:.......

The MXT is a great metal detector and will do you well when you learn all the things you can do with it. With about 2 additional coils one larger and one smaller you will be able to hold your own with anyone. I have had mine one year and have complete confidence in it. I have found relics, silver coins, Jewelry at many different depths from shallow to deep. Consider getting the Sunray DX 1 pin pointer and you will be well equipped for the hobby. Good Luck with your new toy.

:clapping: Congratulations on your getting an MXT, and welcome aboard. :yo: I believe that this is the best forum on the net. Many very knowledgeable and nice folks on here that can answer most all your questiions and give you some very good tips. I've only been here for a short time and all have helped me one way or another. One note however, most like an odd assortment of smaller coils.
As I do myself, but my best coil for most trashy areas around here has been the Execelarator 8in. DD that I got from KellyCo. Also, if you order a lower arm, it will save you a lot on changing coils in the field. Anyway here's wishing you the best of luck with the best kind of Detector you can buy (IMHO) HH and enjoy.
