New Amphibious Machines coming out?

I would have thought that the other major players would have come up with an Atpro type machine. It was rumor that Teknetics was in the process of a new waterproof machine when the Atpro was released. Usually other manufacturers jump on the band wagon when a hot machine comes out. Look at Minelab with their Garrett type pinpointer...............................
Do you think it's just possible that other companies can not design and build a machine that does what the Atpro does in that price range? Maybe? It's not that the Garrett is an inferior machine. But some competition will essentially benefit us users. I'm just throwing this out there..........

Id say the marketing/sales success of the ATPro cant be ignored by the others...and a person certainly cannot dispute the finds the users post.
Mud.

This is why I can't believe there isn't really any waterproof mid priced notch VLF machines coming out.

The proven Tesor Tiger Shark. Water proof to 200'. Can be hipmounted for light weight. Finds small gold. Bullet proof design. Lifetime warranty.

No doubt the TS is a great machine. But I don't like the notion of opening up the machine to make some adjustments. But I was wanting a notch machine for land hunting.

Well, we've already seen MLs response, now just waiting on Fisher, Whites, ect, if they have one that is.

It's a matter of time.....

Especially with the popularity of the AT Pro. HECK! I have one as my back up to my Etrac and V3i. I have 2 buddies that use them as their main. That's 3 of 5 pople just in my local area that have AT Pros. I am sure Diggers is helping sales also.

it all comes down to sales and $$.... the laws of supply and demand....

There's a saying called 'inovate don't immitate', but that only goes so far when it comes to companies and $$$.

and a matter of time before someone puts something out in that price point or better that fits that niche

I also have a tiger shark.. I love it, But one that no one talks about is the detector pro detectors. As good as the AT PRO. Can be used on wet salt beaches. I got one for the philippines. Very light weight compared to some others. ... KEN

I've been looking at the Detectorpro's. I'm a beep dig guy in the water and sand. I would like to see the Detectorpro models with tone ID. Have you found the DP's having a low frequency hard at hitting smaller gold?
