Sold my MXT Pro awhile back and have missed it. A nice deal came up on this one so added it back into the arsnel. I sure missed not having my MXT around. Will keep this one.
I still think its the best machine Whites has to offer at this time. If anything the MXT(s) have proven over time to be real work horses.

Glad to hear it...I still have the MXT Pro package I bought from you a few years back. Awesome unit.

Hi Gregg. Beautiful MXT All-Pro! You're right, the MXT is one of the all time best detectors of any manufacturer ever made, and I wouldn't be without one either. At one time or another, I've had many of the mid to high end detectors made over the last 20 years, and the MXT can hang right there with the best of them.

I've got the original MXT and you are right a real work horse. I love mine!

Gregg, I saw that you just sold your IDX Pro over in the classifieds forum. Any connection with your new MXT purchase? I had an IDX in the past and sold it once I started using my new MXT with the 5.3 eclipse coil. The MXT is that good!

Yes since I picked up the mxt and I still have my ol m6, I still have plenty of coils for the m6/mxt. So I decided to let the IDX go.

Also one of the things I missed most when I got the other brands ( Makro/Nokta) was not being able to use a RNB battery. Those things are great and I could easily pop the battery from one machine to the next since the m6, mxt and classics used the same battery and the RNB seemed to last forever.

As you know, I have one of the original MXTs and won't be without it. And after buying the used MXT Pro, I really like it also. I'm very thankful for that sale. ;) Not long after using the Pro, my old MXT acted up. Jealousy? Possibly. Larry has yet to send it in to Whites. It will be it's 2nd time for re- calibration in all the years I've owned it. Not too bad for a machine that's had MANY MANY hours on it.

I'm happy you found another MXT Gregg, I know you missed yours.

HH,
Nancy

Hi Nancy, ya glad to get a MXT back in the arsenal, now if only Spring and nice weather would get here. But It will be a few more months. We are suppose to get another round of snow starting tonight thru late Thursday. Weather folks are saying another 8-10".

I had see where you guys were getting hit pretty bad with the snow and storms. Hopefully the cold won't last long and Spring will turn the grass green and we're all out and about detecting. :detecting: I'm really glad you have another MXT. I sure do like mine. ;) Please keep us posted on your finds. Come on Spring! :please::please:

It doesn't sound like you'll be detecting for a while with that forecast. It has been a very strange winter here in Illinois. As I look outside, I can see green grass peaking through the brown dormant grass . We haven't had a hard freeze and I'm wondering what havoc we'll have this summer. Stay warm!

Welcome back Gregg,

Looking forward to heading out your direction later this year if your snow ever melts. The ski resorts here locally are happy, and while I don't want to complain amount having water, I am getting tired of clearing my driveway with the snow shovel

Hi Rich,

At least fun times will be coming, even if it is depressing right now lol. Are you going to make Monte's NV. outing in May and the other June outing in Oregon ?? Looking forward to them, the outing are always fun.

Hey Gregg,

The new dates are tough for me. I was able to schedule time off work for April and July (old dates), but all the vacation time for the new dates (May and June) is taken, so I am waiting and hoping somebody cancels.
