Just got my ace and learning a lot from this forum, this is my first post, I've been reading and learning from you people for several weeks now and made my choice of the ace baste on what I read
here and on other forums, So far I am hooked and vary happy with the ace 3 wheats and liberty head dime just in my back yard.:clapping:

I have been hunting with Garretts for almost a year and with a Bounty Hunter before that. I have dug 7605 coins with my Garretts and I have still not found a Liberty Head (1892-1916) dime or any other Barber coin for that matter. Nicely done. Sounds like after I hunt Johns teast garden I need to hunt your backyard.

Sorry I'm going to have to learn my coins this a mercury (winged liberty) 1936 but still I'm happy.

You weren't altogether wrong and still a great find for your first day. I think the official name is Winged Liberty Head. I love it when a Merc pops it's head out of a hole.
