Got a new Ace 250 a while back to use a back-up to my x-terra70. Haven't had a chance to use till today. Man what an awesome little detector. Went to my old high school, it's closed for renovations but you can still use the grounds. Found a pocket spill of $2.01 in one hole. Found one last weekend too with the x-terra. Found a total of $4.25 in about two and a half hours, including a 1935 merc. Thats more than i've ever found with any other detector i own. Man i love this thing. At least now i know that i can let someone use it,( if i can find somebody to go ) they will have a great time. I also got a Pro-pointer a while back, man is that thing awesome or what ! Thank you Mr. Garrett for making quality products that are easy to use and produce. Thanks for reading and happy hunting.

Have fun with your ace 250
Iv`e had a 250 for 2+ years and it still amazzzzzes me. Put the right coil on it and learn how too drive it and you won`t believe how that little sucker can sniff out the goodies. I have two top of the line Mine Labs, Explorer 2 , and a new Excalibur 2, and 3 other detectors. The little ACE 250 is by far my favorite. Everytime i find gold or silver i just laugh at the little rig.
Yeah man i tell ya it really is a great detector. Went back to same school last Sunday and had a blast. Took both the Ace and the x-terra 70. Man that little Ace held it's own. Just switched back and forth between the two. Really like the bell tone of the Ace 250, very well thought out. Love my x-terra but this Ace is getting alot more attention than i thought it would. Yeah Deano i also have a Excal 2 10" for the salt water. Just got it about two months ago. The jury's still out on which one is my favorite. Going back out again in the morning for a while. Hopefully i can find something good so i'll have to figure out how to post a picture. Thanks for all the replies guys and hope everybody has a great weekend. HH.
