New Ace 250 vs. a used GTA 400

The new Ace 250 is coming out with a lot of bang for the buck. I want to wait for it but I have an opportunity to pick up a used GTA 400 with a straightup trade. It seems to work fine, I'm just torn. I really want to get out there and start hunting.

I'd wait for the 250 unless you just can't stand it. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

I would think that the performance would be similar... the 350 I used would be OK for an entry level machine, but depth is only so-so, comparable to my Freedom Ace and Freedom II plus machines.
A Garrett rep. at a club-hunt told me that the 350s seemed to have more depth than the Treasure Aces however... If I had to guess, I'd bet on the 250 having better performance than the 400.
Let us know how it all turns out!
