New Ace 250 on its way

Well after time & consideration I've decided to buy an Ace 250 for my wifes B- day. She told me a while back she wanted to help me detect the old site I mentioned a while back in a previous post.
I figured if there really is 2 tobacco cans buried, one with early 1900's coins & another with old bills tightly packed, then I would be crazy not to go after this.
I did a qiuk scout of the area last summer & there is a lot of trash/ metal from cars etc... this could take several years find, as I figure I will do surface clean up first. If I don't find it in that phase, I will get the deep seeker for the GTI 2500.
I do have a couple buddies who I trust fully, so I figure when the wife stays home, I can bring a buddy to help speed the process up & will split the finds, if we find the caches while they are with me.

Yes this spot is very trashy, but thats ok because I /We will be digging everything in All metal.

In fact, here's the balloon I flew there. I hope you have some luck with that cache. All the best to you and I am sure your wife will love that ACE 250. You have the GTI 2500.....Right?

Hi John, very nice Balloon! I hope to get some nice shots of the Balloons this summer with my new DSLR.
I went to the old homestead last summer, lots of area to cover.
A few pics to look at. Summer brings a lot of critters out, bug juice & jacket is mandatory, unless one wants to feed the critters:yikes:

Where I took the photo of homestead 2 was an old barn long gone, but to the right side- back is where the cache is suppose to be buried.
Will be using the GTI 2500 mostly, in All metal.

If your ever up the way John, your expertise is welcome, split 50/50.
:twodetecting:

Problem loading pictures, may try later!

The fellow that told me the place was an older native fellow, who said it was his great uncle or grandpa. He said a few other family members tried to find the cache, but never did. He also said there were 3-4 other houses on the other side of the creek, this area is very dense forest w/lots of dead fall.

Thanks for the opportunity.....will have to see what transpires. BC next month, Ontario in July and ??? The rest of the year. I hear that those black flies up there are big enough that a dozen or so can literally pick you up and drop you from a high altitude, so you don't swat them while they are biting you.....

Now that you've shown me that picture I may be doubling up on the jacket & extra heavy on the bug juice:look::yikes:
