Seeing as I am using the White's more than the Bounty Hunter now, I thought I would change my name to what I use on other forums...Same dectectorist, new name...I will still remain true to this forum and give my advice and help as I always have....

Thanks all,

GoGoGopher

It is an older White's Classic II SL...I did the mod on it to bring the threshold and Ground Balance adjustments outside the case...simple as removing the board mounted pots and replaceing them with linear taper potentiometers....I like how it hits solid on coins, and gives broken signals for trash, unlike the Bounty Hunter that hits solid on everything, and leaves it up to the LCD to figure it out...the Classic has no LCD display, you are forced to use your ears, and brain, and I have been finding more trash, but also more coins and goodies...the Barber was passed over by the Land Star, but found with the White's...I am not knocking Bounty Hunter, but until I can afford a Time Ranger, I will probably be using the White's...I have the Land Star up for sale with 8" and 4" coils, carry bag, and finds pouch....If interested in it, give me a PM...
I am also saving to get a White's Matrix M6...
I have NEVER liked the MineLab machines...I do not even like the way they sound..I think it is irritating noise...
