New 705

Finally got out today and got to try out my new rig. The 705 seems a little smoother in pattern modes than the old 70 was. I hunted a early 1900's house yard that I usually take all my new detectors to. Found the usual kibbles & bits and got a old ornate gold plated brass wedding band that has 14k on the inside. The straight rod setup is light and the balance on the 10.5DD is wonderful!! It is not front heavy like the stock rod. I just need to get into a more target rich environment and score some good finds, I think the old house is drying up................HH MO

Well atleast you got out and enjoyed it. Rainy and very muddy here.

I had the Whites rod and armcuff left over from a hipmount kit I had laying around. The F-75 cuff was ordered by my local dealer from Fisher, I just like the way it feels better than the XTerra cuff, plus it adds a little weight to the upper end. I think that is what helps balance it out. Like I said the straight rod part is from a Whites M-6 and if you use the Whites handle part, you will have to get thew Xterra pod insert for the top of it.
