New 2 year Warranty

Several days ago, I got my AT Pro back from Garrett after doing a repair and the upgrade. There was nothing in the box besides my detector and that clip. How do we actually know that the warranty has been extended. Also, do we need to re-register the warranty.

Look on your machine.. A sticker will be applied saying extended Warranty and the date. look by the headphone connector

How long will that sticker last if you use it in the water??

I would write down the serial number & date for future reference just in case it falls off. At least you don't have to hang on to the sales slip like a lot of other manufacturers do to get warranty work done.

I'm certain Garrett has documented all of your info in their system even if it were to fall off. Or you can always just remove it and keep it in a safe place if needed.
