new 1350 with multiple coils

I think you will like that machine. Just remember to turn off the profiling (click on the pinpoint once) after you are done with a particular target and searching for a new one.

I have a GTI2500, it will only image with a couple coils and a small one such as the sniper will not image. Only 9.50 and up will image.

I do not have the 1350 so can't say for sure, but would check it out by going to Garretts website and checking. I do not think it will.

I stand to be corrected fer sure, however do think the smallest coil for image is the 9.50 coil. I can't even re-call what size coil the 1350 comes with.

Checked their web site, that unit comes with a 7 X10" coil and works different with the IMAGE feature, sure would check with Garrett on the imaging with different coils.

The GTP 1350 doesn't need the imaging coils.. It profiles, not imaging, so you can use 4.5 crossfire II, 7x10 proformance elliptical (standard coil),9x12 proformance, 10x14 proformance DD... The GTI 1500 and 2500 need imaging coils for the imaging program to work....

I have the 1350 with 4.5" crossfire II, 7X10, and 10X14 DD. Profiling works with 4.5" you just have to think harder to maintain the 14" swing path. With the 7X10 it is easy because you just have to swing the width of your coil on each side of the target. I don't think the profiling works with the DD and don't think it is supposed to. Note - The 4.5" ACE coil will hook up and somewhat work with the 1350, but your results will be inaccurate. Stick with the Crossfire II 4.5". I have been using mine for 2 years and can tell you to not rely too much on the "A" versus "B" size. Depth has a lot to do with that accuracy. I have always regretted digging "C" stuff in coin areas, but will continue to do so. The more I learn about this, the more I respect the older machines and detectorists from yesteryear. My dad dug boxes full of quality stuff in tough areas during the late 60's with a machine that cost a month's wages and descriminated nothing. He left nothing behind, trash or treasure! Discrimination is causing us to leave a lot behind. A note on the 14" DD - Make sure you take a shovel with you cause it will find very small stuff very deep. I was freshwater beach hunting with that thing and it gave me the solid "money" tone in every direction over the target. Scooped out about 6 inches of sand and it was still in the hole. Scooped out another 2 or 3 inches and it was still in the hole. The sand was wet and was caving in on my target so I had to dig wider. I finally had a hole about 2 feet wide and over a foot deep before the target sounded off in my pile of sand. Sifted out the top of my pile and nothing! Now it is back in the hole. Sifted the hole out again and it was back in my pile. I finally used my fingers to go through the sand a plam-full at a time. Found It! The back of a gold ear ring. Not what I expected, but did show me the capabilities of the big DD and wet sand.
