I had a older 1270 use to be AMCJAVELINS,well to make a long story short,I had to hock it to get my wifes car out of repo.So heres the dilema,I miss that detector I came to understand it. I was using it as a clad and jewelry finder with great success. My questin is I just picked up a new blank blank detector. My detector dealer here on forum is willing to to take it back in a trade for a new 1270.My question is the newer 1270s as good as the 1270s ever were?I would really like to get another one .Thanks Woodchuck
