Just have to get the excal when I am able. The GT is more than capable on the beach just have to stay out of the water for now.

Don't be afraid to wade with it. When I had it, I would take my Sov. xs out into shallow water. I used to put it into a gallon size zip-lock bag and chest mount it. Used the stock strap around my neck and added another strap that went around my back, to keep it tight to my chest.
Worked great and I'll do the same with my new GT.
