Never underestimate the power of the GTI 2500

I would love to know how many people walked over this belt plate. My first detector was a Garrett GTI 2500 and it has paid for itself many times over. This belt plate was found on a site pounded to death by others for years. The funny part is, it was only about 2 inches deep. I guess everyone thought it was else thought it was trash.

Holy smokes captain!!! Man, all my CW hunts I never found one of those...good job! Yep that GTI 2500 is a kick butt relic machine, underestimated by users of other brands.

Good point however lets not forget the all metal mode that ID's as deep as any on the market but a tad noisy....

If memory serves me correctly, it was "D" size.

What a great find.. I think you're right about the trash. I once dug a zinc time fuse adapter from a 20# Parrot gun at about 2" deep at a construction site where the local club had been hunting for about a month. They had cleaned it out and moved on... but no one dug that big shallow signal that read like a big quarter... but I did!!

I'm glad you dug that... it needed diggin'
