Found this today, rang up as a 12-33 in hot, dry sandy ground. Anyone seen one before? Country of origin? Not sure if the writing is Arabic, Farsi, ???

John 4840 in the Whatzit forum came up with a positive ID. It's an Egyptian 1992 10 piastres coin. Wonder how it got to where I found it? These are fun finds to me!

Very cool find !

If I converted correctly, that's about $1.65 US. Cool find.

Check out Worldcoingallery.com. Good resource for identifying foreign coins.
