Never hurts to ask

Yesterday my buddy Widebody and I went to an older place in our local area and I asked for permission to hunt from the grounds keeper.
I just knew they would say no but wanted to let them know we would be doing the city easments.
They asked a few questions and even came to check on us after giving permission. Said we can come back any time.
Widebody found a very nice 54 half.
He deserved it, he has spent a lot of time, energy and money. Couldn't have happened to a better guy.
I found a possibly old, gold, and diamond ring.
I have to take it to a jewler to see just what it is. It was a great time.

congrats on the finds... hopefully there will be more there waiting to be unearthed...

[size=large]was a very good hunt. bad part was seeing light digging with-out covering the holes. someone sneaking in and just picking the top 1-2 " targets and must of been in a hury. it hurts us all when permission is denied because of this kinda crap. still turned out well for us.
