Never hunted Whites but wondering how the Dual Field vs BH 300 compare

I been hunting a lot for about 10 yrs. Mostly Garretts. Right now been using the AT Pro on Fla. Gulf beaches. I got to tell you in the dry sand it gets good depth. Some coins / tabs down over a foot.
I keep hearing about the Whites DF PI for depth and also the BH 300. The picture I get is PIs your going to almost dig everything, but deeper The BH 300 cleaner hunting but a loss of some depth.
If any one hunted both of them I sure could use some direction.
Thanks, Dancer

I hunted with the DF and it will give you some pretty good depth. If you need a waterproof dig anything detector this is it. I got tired of chasing bottle caps and sold mine.

Hi Dancer, just got myself a BH 300 and went out with it yesterday for the first time.I seem to have an issue with mine in the fact that I can't get the threshold to run stable making it hard to ground balance it.I left mine near the center position in the end (ground balance) and hunted anyway. In all metal this machine goes very deep and picks up the tiniest of objects,i found some tiny stainless steel screws at good depths. The good thing about the machine is that even in all metal the indicator lights on the control box give a fairly accurate idea if you are picking up iron or not......it's like having a pi machine with a bit of discrim.I ended the day with a nice 18ct gold ladies wedding ring which looks quite old and numerous coins and scrap metal.I did dig a little bit of iron but not much, the depth and sensitivity of the machine makes up for digging a few bits and when I get used to the machine a bit i'll probably not dig much iron at all.
PS,a chap with a pi machine got a deep signal and asked me to check it with the beach hunter.......i picked it up easily and told him it was'nt iron.It turned out to be a piece of molten aluminium,i think he was quite impressed with the depth of the machine as it took three scoopes to get it out.

The BH 300 has found me lots of good jewelry. I would hunt soccer fields for practice and found some good gold rings and coins with it.
The only thing that I did not like was when hunting in bright sunlight I cound't see which led lights was on due to the extrem brightness.
Had to turn around in the shade of my body to see the colored led lights.
This could have been remedied by Whites by extending them out somewhat.

That bought a smile to my face.....that's what I was having to do yesterday.I just looked at the lights as I turned to cross the target with the coil. I also found that with our modern coinage, which is iron cored and coated with either nickel or copper,i was getting a red and yellow or blue light flashing together. This showed that the detector was picking up both the iron and the coating material which I thought was quite impressive.
