Nevada Gold Nuggets Are Pretty:thumbup:

Gus in idaho

New member
I am new to this Forum So I thought I would post A picture of a few Nevada nuggets I found in the past.
Nothing big here, but other than Australia I think Nevada nuggets are some of the prettiest!
I found all these nuggets in (4) trips down to Nevada in 05'

We need to get this forum hopping!!! So share your photos!! I love to look at gold.
All of these nuggets were found with a gp-3000 w/16" mono-nugget-finder.
Gus-

Nice gold. Those sizes are the best sellers.
Plenty of good gold in the US. I think the main reason to come to Aust (WA in particular)is for the ease of access to detecting ground. Also not so much rubbish. From what I see on the forums there is alot of rubbish over there.
Gold photos are good but I like to see the country people beep in. I've seen some good looking ground at Rye Patch also there were pictures of some country, I can't remember where, but there was a statue of a jackass on top of a hill. They were on this site. That looked like great ground to go wandering in.
This is where I beep..

Alan, I too like to view the scenery.

[attachment 58669 scene1.jpg] This is one of my customers (Jeanette) and some other guy. I don't know if he is looking at scenery or if he is looking at scenery???

[attachment 58670 scene2.jpg] This is her showing off her 1st nugget find at Rye Patch. I'll say this. For someone to go to Rye Patch and find a Gold Nugget with a Pulse Induction machine on their 1st trip is quite amazing. I know of many people who have been down there for a week and never found a sliver of gold.

[attachment 58671 scene3.jpg] This is her 1st RP nugget and even though it is pretty small for a GP, it's GOLD and she had SUCCESS.

BTW. That guy checking out the scenery is her husband (Dan).

Dan & Jeanette, I had a great time working with you folks that trip. Hope to see you post on here more.

Gus, You are more than welcome to post as many photos and tips/tricks as you want.

EVERYONE!!! Gus is one heck of a "Gold Magnet Man" and he seems to find it more than most with both of his Gold Machines. If you see Gus posting tips and tricks, I recommend you folks to pay attention and ask him questions. He is for real and he is very very dag gum GOOD.

Thanks for taking the time to post your photos guys. We'll eventually get this forum hopping again.

Enjoy.

Hi Gus and ALL
I can only say WOW,but I`ve seen you in action and realize your a gold finding machine:yikes:
This is just his small stuff folks:smoke:
My experiances are limited to 5 trips in the last 2 years when my friend and gold finding machine Gerry invites me out there to detect the backcountry of Northern Nevada.I don`t have many to show off but they sure are pretty anyway, these are my babies:cheers:
Thanks to Gerry I have GOLD FEVER AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL:clapping:

Marc

Gerry,
Thanks for the kind words,I have said before, if it wasn't for you I would be no where near the detectorist that I am now.
I have only been viewing this forum for about 2 weeks now, but I like it alot.
It keeps you in communication with other fellow prospectors, very informational, and I can make new friends with the same interests I have. I will continue to make posts.

Alan,
I will work on taking and posting some scenery pictures in the future, I never seem to remember my damn camera when I am out in the field.
But I agree a nugget photo in its natural Environment would be a better photo.
There is many occasions where I wish I would have had some photos taken.
I hope that one day I may be able to nugget hunt in Australia.

Marc,
Those are some nice nuggets you have found. But I know with you eagar hearted determination,, there will be many more too come.
And I hope I can be with you on some of those finds.

Thanks you guys for your replies.
Gus-

Hi all,

I've been going to Northern Nevada for a LOT of years, and have never seen ANY of your pretty faces out there.

So that only means you are HIGHGRADING my patches at NIGHT or you show up when you know I won't be out there.

No wonder I can't find diddly out there..the only thing I find is lots of dig holes and weird nubby boot tracks leading away from them.

Extreme jelousy consumes me, and it's just not right, you guys finding all that pretty gold!!

Have a dandy day!
