NETR Aerial site pays off with silver.

A week ago I was telling a hunting buddy of mine about a section of park that used to have an old mansion, and how I had hunted the area in front of it finding my first IH from 1889. It was on my mind, so I decided to checkout NETR again and see if there was any spot I hadn't checked. Something I immediately noticed that I missed before, was that the path that's currently there is only partially over the original walk-path. I marked an area on the map where the path diverted towards a section of trees, and decided to try and find that area. Yesterday I had a chance to hunt this section, and within 30 minutes hit a deep silver. A very worn 1917 Mercury dime. I didn't have a long time to stay and continue, so after another 30 minutes I left. Very happy I checked that website. Should be more there. Just wanted to get it out there that using those aerial sites does help. -Fin

Nice detective work Ron - I love the old aerials - they are like going back in a time machine:thumbup:
