NEL Tornado

Anyone use one of these on an E-Trac? I just picked up a used one. The ears are so tight to the shaft, I was afraid of breaking the ears. Had to pop one of the washers out of the lower shaft. Then, the coiled cord is huge. Is not going to fit into the Etrac lower shaft easily. Going to have to pull it up with a string. Is this normal with the NEL coils?

I think you got mine and yes it is normal for the Cord to be tight. I used a Coat Hanger and taped it to the end myself. Not sure about the ears. Mine were tight as well but I got them on.

Yup your coil...got it on..cant wait to try it out....definitely needing a dedicated lower shaft for that coil

I actually had more trouble with the Coiltek going through the hole than the Tornado. To me Etrac is too hard to change Coils. I have two so the stock coil will stay on one while the Coiltek will be on the other. I just posted about its first run.

I found a 1822 Half Dollar with the Tornado and a 14K class ring weight 10g first day out. I am a believer in the tornado. Epic finds have been found by me with that coil. It hits strong on targets that the stock coil misses. My buddy just went over the area with the x-5 sunray and I hit that 1822 and he about crapped.
