NEL 15" DD Attack Coil

I'm trying to decide if I want to have Kellyco hard wire the NEL coil onto a new Excalibur. Was wondering if this would void the warranty? Also if anyone has had problems with this coil?

I know Kco can do the pinpoint mod, and it does not void the warranty. Since they are Minelab warranty service, I would think anything they do would be ok. Send them an email or call.
I like the 10" on my Xcal and would think that a 15" would be great on the wet sand, but I know the 12" on my DF can be a struggle in a current or surf....can only imagine what that 15" would be like!

Kellyco no longer does the PP mod.. until further notice. Like Bob said you have to consider all conditions when going bigger... I think the best is the 10, with the PP mode and a killer set of head phones..

What most don't realize is the detector sees the deep targets in PP, you just don't hear them because of the poor head phones.. I think Vlad wrote that many years ago about the detector seeing targets... and I still live by it..

Repair center at Kellyco has put on hold the pp mod temporarily until they get caught up on some of the repairs...They are already working 60 hours a week with out doing the mods and mods have to be done after hours....
