NEEED INFO ON COINMASTER 5500D SERIES 3

I need info on this detector I have the chance to get one.I also posed this question on analog forum.i need to know how good a detector is it.Thanks.For those who know or use this detector this is black box version

I owned that detector many moons ago. It was a good detector in it's day. I found a mason jar full of silver dollars, halves, quarters, and dimes from the 1890's - 1920's with that detector. It was buried at the foot of a cotton wood tree under a huge root. It took me four hours to get that root out of the way and get the jar out of the hole. Recently, a member of Idaho Treasure Hunters found the coinmaster 5500D in a Deseret Industries second hand store for $10. It was missing the battery pack and the clear cover protecting the graph display. I made him a cover from some acrylic I had and also a battery pack from some parts from Radio Shack.

I collect manuals for my site, especially for older machines that are hard to find. If you need the manual let me know and I will look for it and give you a link if I can find it.

Thanks Idaho Treasure Hunter if there is any other info you can give me about the use of this detector drop me a line at oldwoodchuck@hotmail.com
