Needing tips/suggestions

Headed down to the beach next week, only get to detect at the beach every 2 to 3 years. I will be using either a detector pro wader or a xterra -70. I've got one of the big stainless scoops, plan on hunting at daylight most days. What tips or suggestion would you have for a vacationing beach hunter?

Which beach are you going to be on and maybe someone from that area can give you a few tips..........

Get the tide info and try to hunt one of the low tides with that wader.

Don't forget to make water part of your equipment. It's hot and along walk if you are suffering from heat.

Get yourself some good foot gear.

Check out the babes.

I carry a cell phone in a water tight otter box. Sometimes I'm not sure where the hunt will take me and a phone call to the wife can save some serious walking.

Never show the good stuff to anybody. Show the bad stuff to anyone who will look. Promote the hobby of trash removal.

Go about an hour and a half before the days best low and work the whole thing if you can. Watch out for Sting rays....Work the first 30 feet of shoreline the hardest but dont be afraid to get out with the fish.

Dig is right....

Check the Tides and the surf before you go...
