Sugar,

You must choose the sensivitiy type before you can change it. If you chose auto then the auto level will be active for adjusting. If you then decide to hunt in Manual you must go back and highlight the Sensitivity Type first and then change to Manual. Then the auto selection will not be activated - but the Manual selection will be activiated. You can then scroll down to the manual selection and then change the manual setting. You can not change both settings at the same time. Hope this explains it.

Jim, the protective film peels right off and you have a much better view of the screen. Btw, I bought a set of your Arrricane headphones from you last year and they work great with the headphone module, unlike my Killer B's.

so sorry i still dont understand can anyone explain THANKS how do i get to manual sensitivity as i am going from the sensitivity button at the moment

With the detector on and in the hunt screen, press and hold the sensitivity button which is to the left of the menu button. Then follow the instructions I gave in my response post above.

yep this is what i was doing but when i highlighted MANUAL i cannot increase or decrease it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr maybe i have a problem

If you have Manual highlighted all you have to do is choose the right button or left button on either side of the menu button to either increase or decrease the manual sensitivity. Or you can push the menu button and adjust it from there. Then hit the detect button and go back to the hunt screen.

thankyou ray i will try that but seems to not want to increase or decrease but will try the other way

Just make sure that the manual option is "actually" highlighted. It will be darker and at the same time the auto option will become lighter as it will no longer be active.

Long press the Sensitivity button.

You should see the Sensitivity screen. If the Sensitivity Type says Auto, press the right arrow pad. It will now say Manual. When the Sensitivity Type says Manual, arrow down to highlight Manual Level.

Press the left arrow pad to reduce the Manual Sensitivity, or the right arrow pad to increase the Manual Sensitivity. The numbers will change appropriately. When you have it adjusted to where you want it, pull the Pinpoint Trigger or Press the Select button.

If you want to change it and you are already in the Manual Sensitivity mode, you can short press the Sensitivity button and the Manual Sensitivity bar will appear.

Then simply press the left arrow pad to decrease the Manual Sensitivity, or the right arrow pad to increase the Manual Sensitivity.

NOTE::::
If you short press the Sensitivity button when you are in Auto Sensitivity,
[attachment 234317 senstypeauto.png] you can highlight and Select Manual. [attachment 234318 senstypemanual.png]

When you press Select or press the Pinpoint trigger, it will return you to the main screen.....

Then you can adjust the Manual Sensitivity as outlined above.
