It was a rough Monday on the job today and I came home this evening feeling pretty stressed out. Nothing destresses me better than a walk in the water with my detector so I decided to get in a short hunt before dinner. Low tide was at 1810 so I gave my princess a kiss and got myself down to Horseshoe Bay to see what the surf had stirred up.
A volley ball tournament was in full swing when I hit the beach but I headed straight for the water rather than spend my time oggling the pretty young things. Still quite a few people swimming at 1830 so I checked out my favorite spot but found nothing but a little clad and a bus token. 1950 - As the crowds started to leave with the setting of the sun and dropping temperatures I moved into a busy area that had never produced much before but I had a hunch based on the way the sand seemed to have shifted since yesterday. I found a couple of nickels, a pop lid and then I hit this nice ticket.

14k yellow band with hammered white gold inlay - about 18" deep
I headed home for dinner and a celebratory beverage 'Rocket Fuel' (1 oz. each of rum, teguila, gin, a 1/2 oz. of cointreau and sprite, all poured over a glass of ice); I felt nice and relaxed after that.
Cheers,
BDA
PS: I was running the Excal silent and deep.
