Need your prayers for a fellow Officer that was shot this morning.
An Idaho State Police trooper was shot this morning during a traffic stop on Highway 74, just south of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Trooper Chris Glenn was shot just after 7 a.m., after he stopped a suspect in an armed robbery. A Stinker Station in Twin Falls, Idaho was reportedly robbed.
The suspect is identified as Adam Ted Mower of Twin Falls. Police say he fled the scene after shooting Glenn. Police caught up to him three miles north of Jackpot, Nevada inside the Idaho state line.
Elko County deputies put down spike strips that slowed the car's progress. Officers say Mower's vehicle made it to Jackpot, where it rear-ended a semi-trailer, flipped over -- and wound up in front of the Four Jacks Casino on US 93.
Mower is at to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Officers are still investigating the incident, and Glenn's condition is guarded at this time. The full extent of his injuries is not know at this time. He was shot in the neck.
He was taken by medical helicopter to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. Glenn has been with State Police for four years, is married and has a son.
Please Pray for Trooper Glenn and his family. Also pray for his fellow Officers as we are a close family and when one of our own goes down it effects us all.
