Need Whites 5 pin coil connectors.

Anyone know where I can get 5 pin coil connectors, male and female? I am wanting to try connecting a SEF DD to my SM PI detector. Local Radio Shack here in Summerville SC only has 4 pin.

Cannot suggest a place to buy a 5 pin coil connector as i live across the pond, but almost 100% certain a VLF coil 'will not' run on a PI,unless you have changed the windings into a home made coil, also the only DD coil that will work on a Pulse as far as i am aware are the ones design for the GPX and ATX as they will only run with the crude discrimination mode with a DD coil and not Mono design.

Of course i could well be wrong and stand to be corrected.

Well wish me luck. I have a SM PI home made knock off. There is a mod for it where by unhooking a resistor from the pc board the circuit it can be made into a 4 wire DD circuit rather than the current 2 wire mono. Looks like I am going to remove the connectors from my old Whites 5000 D and hard wire it. Do not use it for much other than finding a property survey stake from time to time.
If the mod works I will be back here to the forum for an update.

Try your local CB Radio supply store, CB swap meet, Truck stop or any place else where they sell microphone equipment. They are a common plug for CB equipment. Try googling Copper Electronics.
