I was surfing the web looking at CoinStrike sites and I came across 'Gerry's Metal Detectors'. Looks to be a dealer. Anyway... I was reading his spec list and he shows the CoinStrike to be a dual frequency VLF machine. Also says that there is a 5" search coil available for it.
I hadn't seen that anywhere else. Did I miss something? Is any of this true?
Mike

Neither are true. Fisher hasn't release specifics on the C$ but it is said to be in the 7khz range and is a single frequency machine. The digital processing of the signal is what is supposed to be what sets the C$ apart from other detectors.

not the control box, although the control box is spalsh proof as is the CZ70, but I wouldn't take it to the bank.

Hey Mike Hillis, If you want to water hunt, like Mike said, I wouldn't take it to the bank as far as splashproof goes. Instead, buy yourself a waterhunting machine, like a FISHER CZ-20. You can also use it for land hunting also, it just don't have a meter for IDing the targets. Hope this helps, hh, NamVetLesTreasureSeeker
