Hello all. I would like to ask for your advise. My father and I swing the Whites XLT. I also have a Garrett. 2 years ago my dad wanted to get an underwater detector so I helped him pick out the Detector Pro Headhunter. I used it a bit, I guess I was pretty comfortable with it. Had a couple problems with the wire going into the coil shorting out also wires going into head phones came lose and was shorting out as well, had to send it in.
So, I want to get my own water machine for this year. I seemed to narrow it down to the Tiger Shark or Whites Surf Pro or maybe the Beachhunter. What are your thoughts? Some say the Surf Pro goes to deep and can drive you nuts.?. I would mostly hunt in fresh water. Any suggestions you may have would be great!! Thank You!

I'm a PI PRO user.. Don't use it in freshwater.. salt water its fine but freshwater it will drive you crazy.. The Tiger Shark is decent as is the BeachHunterID and a few others..
