I relic hunt about 95 % of the time, 5% coins. What do I want.... a CS or a CZ-70? Learning curves are no
problem...Mineralization is in the 60's,lotsa of iron, hot rocks. Used most Fishers but not these 2.
Thanks and HH, Richardntn

Though I can't say anything bad about the 70 (or 7A I have) & CZ's will "work" for relics fine, the C$ is the best kept secret for relics. Some call it the "Relic$Trike" & I will link up John's page as he's a Civil War guy. I know some VA Civil War hunters that do well with the C$ as well. The number system is perfect, & ID in all metal is VERY cool. It goes deep...especially if you can tolerate the strange sounds of all metal. If you said 95% beach or coin hunt I may have said go CZ. But, I consider myself a relic hunter pretty much myself. The C$ has been perfect for the Colonial goodies we have around here. Awsome at cellar holes. Check out my home made "menu" to give me an idea of the typical readings to expect. 2 of my hunting buddies have switched to C$'s (I didn't pressure them into it or anything) <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Good luck, Bill
