Need the charger for the battery for Excalibur 1000

I bought six months ago a used minelab excalibur 1000 but I assembled it just like a week ago, and I noticed that the charger does not fit the battery pod. If you happen to have one or have an alternative of what to be used please advice. This is the first time that I'm using an excalibur and I don't even know now if it is going to work. Thanks a lot and regards to all the nice people on this forum.

i think you have the same battery that's fits the explorer/safari also,if someone can tell me on this forum ill have one for you.110 and 12volt charger plus spare rechargeable battery!

The MINELAB EXPLORER & EXCALIBUR take (2) DIFFERENT BATTERY Systems!! The Charger PLUG that goes into the EXCALIBUR Rechargable Battery has a LARGER PLUG ADAPTER than the EXPLORER/E-TRAC Series!! Les Robinson

Don't waste the $100 by buying a new stock Minelab charger and the adapter plug. The chargers are prone to failure, are not very efficient and over time will shorten the life of your battery.

A battery charger like the Turnigy Accucel 6 or an Imax B6 will do a much better job and you can charge other batteries with them as well. The contacts on the battery Excalibur battery pack are just positive and negative and it's easy to find two small contacts to fit the battery cap.

Are you in need of the charger or the adapter that goes between the charger and the battery pod?

I just need the charger, since the guy who sold the detector to me, sent me out, the wrong charger which has a thinner female tip, that does not fit the male pin of the adapter. The excalibur 1000 I have is one of the oldest versions with the BBS tech. The adapter is just like a connector that attaches to the battery which has 3 pins in one side and the male pin in the other side to attach the charger. I'm trying to explain as best as possible so that you can now what I'm looking for, since is the first time I'm using a product of Minelab.
