Well like an idiot I braved the rain yesterday and went detecting. I had my Elite hipmounted with a XS2 rescaled to 180 meter. The sov held up fine in the drizzle but after about 3 hours, all of a sudden it seemed as though my meter went nuts and dropped calibration. At rest it sits at -503/-504 and quarters hit 181. Well it jumped to resting at -403 then to -374 and quarters were hitting 221 and the calibration dial would only move those numbers up or down by 10-15. Is it the rain that screwed it up?? Like water in the meter? If so how can this be fixed?? The detector still functions fine even with the wacky meter attached, I just need to get the meter working right again... Any suggestions??
Thanks guys!!
