need some veteran feedback on the Cibola im thinking of buying one

i have a whites m-6 and was thinking of getting a tesoro cibola for some relick hunting or just switching over to it and selling my m-6 the m-6 just doesent go deeper than 6" no matter what coil i use i heard the tesoros are deep and the cibola may be what i would get somone help me on this ? how do you like the cibola ? how deep on coins and relicks ?

Cant go wrong with the Cibola. I have dug mini balls 8-9 inches deep and some deeper if the soil conditions were right...d2

I recently purchased one for my son. It is a deep fast sweep machine. You don't have to sweep it fast for good depth....but unlike a lot of units it can be rushed..............and will perform like a champ. It is hot on lower conductivity targets .......................get ready to find jewelry!! Good luck with an excellent choice.

Like a few people have mentioned, your ground mineralization has a lot to do with it because the Cibola is fixed ground balanced machine. We have moderately mineralized ground in our neighborhoods and the machine gets about 7" on average, but the fields around here are highly mineralized and it reduces the machines effectiveness to a max of 5". If you get it and find that your not getting the expected depth of 7-8" I've heard that you can send the machine in with a box of your dirt and they'll customize the ground balance for you. Better solution is just to buy the Vaquero and learn to ground balance it. I have a Cibola and now my young son is using it.
