my se explorer pro likes to come apart at the control box and handle the cam lock not tight enough to hold not bad in easy park site,s but in the woods the added pressure of the trees and brush tug more and it come,s apart anyone else run intoo this help please

Ive not had any problem with my SE. You know older machines seem to have a lot of cam lock issues that people solved with tap.... but if it were me id be calling ML for a fix. I hunt a little bit of everything and every place... they do take a lot of beating especially in the woods since the Pro coil catches more items than the standard or even the SEF does. Ive also used that electrical swink tape you slide over and heat it to a tight fit. I think it was Golddigger who used a rubber surgical glove cut the thumb off and then the other end.... slide it on wet.... when it drys its TIGHT.

i tried electrical tape it just seem to push down the shaft as you push the control box into place and yes ive noticed that a bout the pro coil catching brush thats why i use my 10 by 12 sef in the woods more closed surface less to grab or snag thanks for in put i,ll deal with it for now not sending my se in this time of year too much good stuff to find and my colonial woods sites just lost the snow so now i can go go go with my explorer not my back up xlt thats why i bought the se pro snoopys got work to get her done lol

hi teleman...is this the problem you are having? http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,397738.0.html

btw, is that an American Standard Tele you are holding? Chris

grover that is the trouble im talking about but i have mine set up correct and it still comes lose it feels like the cam does not lock proper been trying tape but that just seems to push down the shaft as you push the control box down

Call ML... someone on here did and i think they just sent the cam lock to him... NC. Its worth the call.

that is on the cam lock. Open the cam lock look down were it meets the the red rubber on top of it is a piece of metal that when you close the cam lock it presses on the rubber. It will keep it from beingable to get tight lock.
