hey guys...been a f75 user for a few months now and love it...this is my first machine ive had that came with stock DD coil..my ? is how well the 10" concentric works on the f75..as far as id's go..i know the difference between the two but want to know if they i.d the same on targets.or is the f75 built for the dd coils...thanks to all...

I don't have the 10" concentric, but I do have the smaller 6 1/2" concentric coil and it id's very close to the same as the 11" DD. HH jim tn

I've got the 11 inch DD and 10 inch concentric. The only place I have found where I have a preference for the 10 inch concentric over the 11 inch DD is over wet salt beach areas. I find the 10 inch concentric a little more forgiving to ground balance to the wet salt than the 11 in DD. In that environment the 11 inch DD wants me to maintain a pretty exact ground balance matching to the wet salt or it tends to give more falsing than the 10 inch concentric. I can hunt successfully with less adjustment with the 10 inch concentric in that specific environment. But I must say, after doing a bit of beach hunting with it, I am now not taking it to the beach as I am spending more time in the water and not so much time where I won't risk dunking a detector.

Most open dirt areas I hunt with the 11 inch DD. I like the 6.5 inch elliptical concentric in trashy areas or up near poles and fences.
Cheers,

Oh ... to answer the ID question, I found the two coils very close to each other on ID.

I owned the 10" coil. I liked it on the F75 because it seemed that it was a little more accurate on target Id and with coins seemed to do a little better than stock coil. I still have the 6" eliptical coil. So I rarely use the 10" coil. I just keep stock on most of the time. All in all the 10 inch coil is a great coil.
