Trying to discided if the 7 inch coil is worth buying for the Stringerray 2! OR is the 8 inch coil good enough but also thinking of the 10 inch coil for more depth!Thank you for any thoughts,Joe
 
Smaller coils are usually better on smaller targets but you loose some depth. But smmaller coils also work better in real trashy locations. Bigger coils give you better depth and coverage but can be a bit less sensitive on really small targets.

If you want more depth go with the 10.5" coil. It is still very sensitive to small targets.
