Can anyone give me information about the old
Pioneer 101 Bounty Huinter? I have heard it is Tracker IV made for WalMart. Can anyone verify that?
A friend of mine dug his out of the garage; it's not been used much. It looks like a
point, beep and dig machine. Is this machine anygood? It looks VERY basic. ANything you can tell me about the
machine would be appreciated.

Cab this machine use all the coils used on the other Bounty HUnters?

I cannot verify that it was made for WalMart but my local WM used to sell them. I have a Tracker IV along with the Fast Tracker and like them both. The Tracker IV is a "beep and dig" machine. I am not much of a coinshooter but I have read on many different posts on several sites that it is a real killer at parks, tot lots, etc. I hunt for relics and it will pick up very small items and will hit deep on large iron.

This metal detector will accept all Bounty Hunter coils. I have the 4, 7, 8 and 10" Bounty Hunter coils along with the Fisher F4 11" DD coil. I tend to use the 11" DD coil most of the time with the 10" coil next. This is because I am looking for large iron though. I am going to be hitting an old campground soon and I plan on having the 4" coil with me as I am guessing it will be trashy.

Here is a link to a downloadable owner's manual for the Tracker IV. It will help with describing the tone, all metal, disc. switch and other things.

Hope this is a start. PM me if you need anything.
