Need some help with galvanic reactions....

Nevada Gary

New member
I need to connect two sheets of copper - can't find real copper pop-rivets so am wondering if there is a serious galvanic reaction between it an aluminum rivets in an outdooor setting.

I know steel/iron is a problem, but not sure aluminum is.

thanks- won't be around the forum until after the 8th.

Gary

I believe you can get copper rivits at a harness shop, or tack store, where they sell saddles and stuff like that :geek:
